The portable KLEIBER KG 315 B pyrometer is suitable for the documentation and controlling of high temperature processes on metallic surfaces. Applications can be found in steel production, metal processing and furnace areas. The robust design also makes it suitable for applications in harsh industrial environments.

The high capacity internal data logger stores up to 2000 data samples and is particularly suitable for extensive inspection patrols. The ability to save time and date of the measured value is an important aspect of quality assurance.

The vario optics in combination with the through the lens sighting provides a firm base to work with and offers a small spot of approximately 50 mm at a distance of 12 m, therefore ensuring it is always easy to aim at the same area in the oven for the measurements. The measured value is clearly visible in the instrument viewfinder.

The KG 315 B can be operated by one hand, using the button located on top of the instrument to make a measurement.

An infrared interface is available to transfer the values from the internal memory to a PC after finishing the inspection patrol. The evaluation software enables the measured values to be displayed and transferred to an Excel file for analysis.
